The Snow that stayed a week

We got our first real snow in the valley this past Tuesday--a full 2 inches (someone from NY near the Great Lakes would have a good chuckle at that, especially this week!). However, it's been so cold here, the snow still hasn't melted, and it might stick around for over a week until it finally melts away.

We are still in the mode of looking for a church after coming to the realization that the church that we were attending was not the right fit for us. We attended one last week that I think might be a good one, but we will see--we're going there again this week and going to have dinner with his family later on this week.

My traveling is ramping up again, as I've done about 700 to 800 miles each week over the last two weeks, and perhaps even more this week. If only there were frequent driver miles.

In other news, my wife and I decided to go through our clothes and put those away which we aren't using, give away those we don't wear, and throw away clothes that NO ONE should ever wear again. It was kind of shocking, to be honest.
