Mourning With Those Who Mourn

My heart goes out to Steven Curtis Chapman and his family as the world learned today that his youngest daughter, Maria Sue, was struck and killed Wednesday by a SUV that one of her teenage brothers was driving. You can read the full story here.

The tragedy is something that I cannot even imagine, so please pray for healing, for peace, for comfort--not only for the family but for his son who was driving the SUV. They are all likely wracked with grief, though pray for a strengthening faith that would see them through it, that they would cling to Christ.

Steve Camp has a great post to call to pray for the Chapmans here.

Our prayers are with them.

It's a Boy!

Well, ladies and gentlemen, after some suspenseful moments this morning at the ultrasound, it became quite clear that we are going to be having a son come October. The ultrasound (read more about it at my wife's blog here) was quite fascinating in that there was much more definition in the brain, heart, bones, etc.

I'm quite thrilled and can't wait to see him come October!
